Paul Tisdale departs Exeter City after 12 years as manager of the League Two club

Paul Tisdale was the Football League’s longest serving manager

Paul Tisdale has left his role as Exeter City manager after 12 years at the helm.

The 45-year-old had recently taken over from Arsene Wenger as English football’s longest-serving manager.

But, following the club’s second successive defeat in the League Two play-off finals, Tisdale has decided not to sign a new contract.
