The spotlight was on Porto’s players
Thousands of delighted Porto fans joined the players to celebrate a first title win since 2013 on the weekend.
And it looked like a big one.
When the Lisbon derby between Sporting and Benfica on Saturday ended in a 0-0 draw, Porto headed into their penultimate game of the season with Feirense on Sunday knowing they had already wrapped up the title.
Benfica needed to win to keep alive their hopes of a fifth successive crown.
Porto, though, still took home all three points by beating their opponents 2-1.
The result also secured goalkeeper Iker Casillas with his first title since leaving Real Madrid for Porto in 2015.
And, as you can see, the party lasted an entire day with the celebrations beginning inside where the players were presented with a trophy and hoisted manager Sergio Conceicao into the air.
They then paraded the trophy afterwards.
